Our LED lights and connections are rated IP65 for waterproofing, which means they can withstand harsh outdoor weather conditions such as heavy rain, snow, and extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 50°C. All wiring and connections are UV-rated to resist damage from prolonged sunlight exposure, although they are installed under the roofline to minimize such exposure. Additionally, the track is constructed from durable aluminum, similar to the material used in gutters, which ensures long-lasting, rust-resistant performance. 

No regular maintenance is required for the CanStar Lights outdoor LED lighting system, apart from occasional firmware and app updates that are provided by CanStar.

While some low-voltage lighting companies may believe that they do not require CSA approval for their lighting due to its low voltage, this is a misconception. As a consumer, it is essential to confirm that the product you are purchasing is properly approved, and our CSA stamp of approval demonstrates our commitment to safety and quality. 

Typical installations are completed in a single day and require your presence only at the start and end of the process. Our team will work with you to arrange a convenient installation date and time. 

Absolutely! The CanStar Lights system features individually addressable lights, meaning you have full control over which lights are turned on and the colors they display. You can even combine them into different patterns and animations, giving you the flexibility to create millions of unique color combinations. In addition to this, we offer pre-programmed patterns and animations to choose from. 

We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with the CanStar Lights system. If any part of the system is found to be faulty during the 5-year warranty period, we will replace it for free. Additionally, after the warranty period, if you need to replace an LED bulb, the cost is approximately $6. CanStar Lights system is highly customizable and modular - you can cut and customize it at any point by unplugging the power. The lights are individual units and not strands or LED strips, making it easy to add on to the system if you ever want to expand your installation.
